Sri Rudram is a part of that Veda which praises Sri Siva. As per sastra, before starting reciting this part of veda, one is required to undergo purification process called Maha Nyasam. By reciting this Maha Nyasa verses, one invites the respective deities be present in certain parts of the body of the singer, which enables him to protect from mistakes of both physical and mental. The method that is prevalent in reciting this Mahanyasa is compiled in this book. It is transliterated in Tamil language in bigger fonts.
