The Vishnu Sahasranama Stotra is a sacred Hindu hymn comprising 1,000 names of Lord Vishnu, the preserver and sustainer of the universe. It was composed by Bhishma Pitamaha, while he was awaiting Uttarayana in his bed of arrows made by Arjuna.
