Every day she used to prepare the delicious dish "vada" and sell it in front of her home. One day, a cunning crow noticed the plate of vada. As the lady entered her home to get some water, the crow immediately grabbed a vada from the plate, took off, and then landed on a tree branch. A fox came from that side and smelled vada. "Wow! What is this delicious aroma?” it wondered, and then looked up to see the crow having the vada. The sly fox came up with a plan to steal and eat the vada ; ‘Hi, Beautiful crow! You look fantastic. Your voice is so melodious. Could you sing for me?’ the fox said. The crow was delighted with the compliments. It opened the mouth and started singing "Ka Ka Kaaa, Ka Ka Kaaaa..." for the fox. The vada fell from the crow’s mouth, and the fox took off and ran away. The moral of the story is “What goes around, comes around” and "be careful of false praise".
