During the autumn holiday season, notably around the lengthy Navaratri (Dussehra, Dasara) festival of Hinduism, golu is the festive display of dolls and miniatures in South India. These exhibits are frequently themed and depict court life, weddings, ordinary events, and small cooking appliances in addition to a legend from a Hindu literature. Gombe Habba, Bommai golu, and Bommala Koluvu are some more names for them. The base is made from the b pipe for golu padi. It links the side stairs together. Plastic golu padis can be self-fitted by anyone and don't call for any particular skills or expertise.
