Kamadhenu, also known as Surabhi is a divine bovine-goddess described in Hinduism as Go Mata, the mother of all cows. She is a miraculous "cow of plenty" who provides whatever is required by all living beings. She is typically shown in iconography as a white cow with a feminine head and chest, bird wings, and peafowl tail; or as a white cow with other deities housed inside of her.

This clay Golu doll beautifully represents the celestial cow with its detailed features.  Golu is a doll and figurine tradition, performed during the festival of Navaratri. It is a padi (set of steps) decorated with Bommais (dolls), of all shapes and sizes. Each doll represents a Hindu figure or a classic story. With its intricate detail and vibrant colours, this Kamadhenu bommai is an excellent addition to your Navaratri Golu display.
