Nachiyar Thirukolam is celebrated in Srirangam on the tenth day of the Vaikuntha Ekadashi festival in the first ten days of Thirumozhi Thirunal. It is also called "Mohini Alankaram".

Parasara Bhattar was a huge devotee of the divine couple, Namperumal (Vishnu)  and his consort Ranganachiyar (Lakshmi Devi). He was more closely attached to Ranganachiyar (than Namperumal) considering her motherly love and affection, visible in her divine eyes.
