Sri Santhoshi Mata, is believed to be the daughter of Sri Ganesha (According to North Indian Scriptures). The worship is started spreading after a miracle in mid 1960, till that time it was practised only in few places in North India. Sri Santhoshi Mata is worshipped to bring happiness, prosperity and family bliss. It is required that on 16 consecutive Fridays Sri santhoshi mata pooja be performed, for getting her blessings.
