Sri Durga Saptasathi, is a collection of 700 slokas given in Markandeya purana, in Chandi patha. It deals with description of the acts of the Supreme Mother. It speaks about the personalities of the Divine Mother as Mahakali, Mahalakshmi and Mahasaraswathi. It belongs to tantra sastra. And worshipping with Durga Sapthasathi yantra and during the parts as prescribed during Navaratri days would bring us the blessings of the divine mother in abundance.
