Narayaneeyam is a renowned devotional text in Hinduism, particularly in the Vaishnavite tradition, composed by the 16th-century poet-saint, Melpathur Narayana Bhattathiri. It is a devotional hymn consisting of 1036 verses (shlokas) written in Sanskrit. He wrote one verse a day, completing the entire work in 100 days. It is said that upon completing the last verse, he was miraculously cured of his ailment.

The Narayaneeyam is structured in a way that each verse is dedicated to a specific episode or aspect of Lord Krishna's life, starting from his birth to his eventual return to his divine abode. This is a poetic retelling of the Bhagavata Purana, one of the 18 major Puranas. Reciting this sincerely invokes the same divine grace to devotees, as it did for Bhattathri.
