The Bhagavata Purana, usually referred to as Srimad Bhagavatam, is one of Hinduism's eighteen Mahapuranas. Within the Vaishnavite tradition, it is a renowned text that is of utmost significance.
Srimad Bhagavatham also called Sri Bhagavatha Mahapurana, the magnum opus compiled by Sri Sukha Brahmarishi, in praise of Sri Krishna. The most revered and referred among puranas because of its nature, this mahapurana has 12 skandas (exhaustive volumes), 332 chapters and has nearly 18000 slokas (verses), narrating the lilas of Sri Krishna and his devotees who lived during Sri Krishna avatara.
