Sai Baba is an Indian saint, worshipped by both Hindus and Muslims during and after his lifetime. Hailing from Shirdi, Maharashtra, he was a wise, charitable man who never discriminated between caste or religion. Sai Baba was known to have had the ability to create miracles, and has many devotees and followers to this day. His teachings involved a loving, fulfilling, and peaceful way of life, applicable to all people of all religions or beliefs.

This beautiful bommai set features the saint, a lady, her house and a dog. This bommai depicts the scene of the lady offering alms to Sai Baba. This Golu doll set beautifully represents Shirdi Sai Baba, and is made with great care and bhakti.

Golu is a doll and figurine tradition, performed during the festival of Navaratri. It is a padi (set of steps) decorated with Bommais (dolls), of all shapes and sizes. Each doll represents a Hindu figure or a classic story. With intricate detail and vibrant colours, this traditional bommai doll set is an excellent addition to your Golu display.
