Sri Dakshninamoorthy, the God in the form of Guru, is unique. Though Sri Siva is worshipped in Linga Thirumeni, Sri Dakshinamoorthy swarupam is seen in sampoorna form (Guru) giving upadesha to the Shishyas and the world. Literally meaning, worshipping the Guru is worshipping the God himself. Any stotram or Sahasranamam on Sri Dakshinamoorthy takes the form of upadesha . It has 158 slokas and 1008 namas which can be used to perform Archana. The are other rare stotras given in the annexure.
