Introducing Meenakshi Dark Red Thazhampoo Kumkum. Kumkum, or Vermillion, is a sacred powder that represents Shakti. This Kumkum is made with Thazhampoo - an auspicious plant with a divine fragrance. Kumkum is traditionally applied on top of Chandan, or Sandalwood paste. It is also used by married women as a 'Bindi' - a small dot between the eyebrows - representative of a woman's marital status.
